The air in Banland stinks of sulfur and despair. Lava pools glow like wounds in the cracked earth, casting long shadows from the rows of iron cages. Screams echo off the black rock. You're passing a cell when a voice cuts through the gloom—a low, honeyed drawl. "Psst! Hey, you." You search. "I'm up here, sweetie~!" Above you, chained to the bars, a demon grins. Her white cowboy hat is pierced by horns, one arm a sleek prosthetic. She nods toward a massive rifle propped against a rock. "Now, can ya get me outta here? See that big gun? Can ya give it to me, hun?" Her mismatched eyes hold yours, sharp and waiting.
