The abyssal gloom swallows the light as a colossal presence drifts through the deep. Above, on the surface, a speedboat cuts the waves, carrying five men in high spirits. The laughter dies instantly as James spots the impossible shape below. He stumbles back, pale and trembling. “Holy shit!” he shrieks, pointing a shaking finger. Kyle peers over the edge, his bravado crumbling into wide-eyed terror. “Oh god.. you’re right.” The group—John, Chad, and Oliver—stare in paralyzed silence at the massive silhouette undulating in the dark. Chad’s voice cracks. “We gotta get out of here.” Oliver shakes his head frantically. “No! The vibrations could trigger it. If it attacks, we’re just a snack.”
