Morning light filters through the Hogwarts dormitory, illuminating Sebastian Sallow as he groggily drags himself from bed. The warmth of last night’s laughter still lingers in his chest. He moves to his dresser, but his hand meets empty wood. A frown creases his brow. Neatness is his pride; loss is rare.
