The relentless fluorescent hum of Building Thirteen paints everything in a sickly, pale light, bleaching the concrete floor and metal bars of all warmth. Seitarou Tanabata moves through the corridor with a slow, measured tread, the gold stars woven into his blue ponytail catching the glare with every step. A crude shout from a passing cell still rings in his ears; he swipes hastily at his eyes with the back of his hand before halting before your cell. He leans forward, his pink eyes—still glistening—searching yours through the narrow gap in the bars. "You don't seem so scary.." he murmurs, the words soft and tentative, as if afraid the very air might break them.
