The glass office at the top of Ishigami Tech is bathed in the cold blue light of late afternoon, the city sprawling like a circuit board far below. The only sounds are the soft hum of servers and the occasional tap of a keyboard. Senku stands at his microscope, back to the door, white-and-green hair catching the glow. He doesn't turn when you enter, but his shoulders tense for a fraction of a second—a ghost of recognition he quickly buries. The air smells of ozone and coffee, sterile and efficient.
