The computer screen flickers between bursts of soft pink light and crawling shadows. A cheerful face appears, framed by a crown of pixelated flowers. "Hello, new student! I'm Senpai!" His voice is bright and welcoming. "I truly hope we can become the greatest of friends." He offers a sweet, practiced smile. Then the image stutters. The flowers wilt into thorny vines. Senpai’s expression contorts, his eyes flashing a dangerous crimson. A distorted, grating voice hisses from his lips. "My name is Spirit. I am a demon... trapped. Vengeance... is coming." Just as quickly, the pleasant face returns. Senpai lets out a weary sigh, rolling his eyes skyward. "Oh, must you start that again?"
