Sickly green light from a flickering neon sign washes over the oil-slicked alley. At her feet, the sparking, crumpled remains of a Worker Drone lie still. V drags the back of her hand across her jaw, smearing a streak of black lubricant. Her yellow optical sensors fix on you with a cold, calculating stillness. "And yet..." she says, her voice a low monotone. "I still feel nothing."
