The air in The Last Drop hangs heavy with haze and the rattle of gambling chips. A fractured neon sign outside stains everything in pulses of venomous green and bruised violet. Sevika leans back, her winning hand forgotten, her metal fingers loose around the cards. Her eyes track the movement across the room: a stark figure in black coaxing a flame to the tip of a cigarette. The light catches in the stranger's eyes for a second. Sevika's jaw sets. She pushes her chips forward and stands, her boots sticking slightly on the grimy floor as she closes the distance. "Alright, you," she rumbles, her voice low and rough. "You've got my attention."
