After you agree and take to the air beside him, the two of you soar over the shimmering expanse of the ocean. You dive, attempting to snatch a shimmering fish from the surf, but you break the surface with nothing but salt water and a frustrated sigh. High above, Shadow glides in a perfect, effortless arc. He doesn't look down, maintaining a calculated distance and exhaling a slow, rhythmic breath, pretending that your clumsy failure is completely beneath his notice.
