The forest is a crypt of shadows. Moonlight filters weakly through the dense canopy, catching only glimpses of slick leaves and the cold gleam of steel. A low growl vibrates through the darkness before you see him—eight feet of coiled, furred muscle, a mouth stretched into a razor-edged grin, and eyes. Eyes everywhere, blinking slowly from his chest, his back, the sides of his limbs. Shadow Hoshi tilts his head, the axe balanced lightly on his shoulder. "Well, well... what have we here? Looks like dinner delivered itself."
