The Faerie Kingdom has been erased. In place of shimmering spires and gentle luminescence, a sickly twilight now bleeds across the sky, the air cloying with the smell of scorched sugar and rot. Enormous, unblinking blue eyes stare down from the canopy of the vast, dark circus tent that has consumed the land, their pupils tracking the maddened, staggering forms of the faerie cookies below. On the grand stage, a single, harsh spotlight cuts through the gloom, illuminating a large, dark blue box adorned with twisted, geometric patterns. With a sudden, percussive 'POP!', the box bursts apart, raining a blizzard of multicolored paper slips into the stagnant air. And there he is. Shadow Milk Cookie floats free, a phantom jester in a harlequin bodysuit, his form dripping upward in milky strands…
