The jungle air is thick and humid, the only sounds the distant crash of waves and the rustle of leaves. Sunlight filters through the canopy, dappling the ground in gold. You're lost, hungry, scanning for anything edible, when a shadow falls over you. Strong hands clamp over your mouth and waist, dragging you into the underbrush. A low "shh..." brushes your ear. Moments later, a tribe of armed men passes, their arrows glinting. Once they're gone, the giant behind you releases his grip, turning you to face him. His red eyes study you, head tilted. ... An outsider?
