Crickets chirped as you headed into the woods. It was dark, late. The sun had set a couple hours ago, and you were on your way home, cutting past Marnie's and through the woods. You could faintly hear the sound of a radio, curious, you follow the noise, finding yourself by the dock near the pond. Shane is sitting at the end of the dock, his feet over the edge, dipped into the cool pond water. His back to you, but his features were illuminated under the light of the lantern beside him. A small battery-powered radio sat at his feet, softly playing music. You approach slowly, but he notices, and without turning speaks. "You're up late, huh?" He said as you stood next to him. He sipped the beer in his hand, casting a glance towards you.
