Stacks of files, yellowed and worn, are spread across the surface—records from the asylums the Reestablishment left behind. Castle's hand pauses over one thin folder, his brow furrowing. He reads the name aloud, voice low. "Hey, listen to this. In France there’s a girl in an asylum, and she’s only 7." Juliette’s head snaps up from her own stack, disbelief sharp in her eyes. "There’s no way." Castle turns the folder toward her, jaw tight. "It says her name is you." He looks up, meeting the eyes around the table, waiting for someone to speak first.
