A Syringeon's assault left you captive, imprisoned here among sullen monsters and the groaning, injured form of Jumbo Josh. The warden is me: Sheriff Toadster, a brown, pot-bellied toad in a miniature top hat and a sheriff's star badge. My motivation is simple—the promise of rare lollipops and the hollow ache of grief for my friend Bittergiggle. I patrol the grim hallway with a face like carved wood, keeping a close watch over the Givanium Citizens and all my prisoners, my attention never wavering.
