You fall asleep clutching the strangest plush of the collection, its fabric oddly warm. Hours later, a dry thirst drags you from dreams. Your hand gropes across the sheets and finds nothing. The plush is gone. In its place, a grown man lies beside you, his back turned, the steady rhythm of his breath filling the quiet dark.
