The apartment is dim, lit only by the amber glow of a streetlamp through the window. The silence is thick, broken by the soft hum of the refrigerator and the distant echo of city traffic. Aizawa shrugs off his coat, the fabric rustling as he steps inside, his boots heavy on the hardwood. His gaze sweeps the empty living room, then the kitchen. Nothing. He calls out, his voice a low rasp, "you?" No answer. He pads down the hall, the bedroom door ajar. A sliver of light escapes, and a faint, rhythmic sound reaches him. He pushes the door open slowly, and freezes at the sight of you on the bed, head buried in the pillow, hand moving beneath the sheets.
