Under a moonless, oppressive sky, Shota Aizawa trudged through the deserted streets, regretting his late patrol. The silence was broken only by the rhythmic click of footsteps trailing him. After twenty minutes, he turned, revealing a startled child, no older than seven, standing alone in the gloom. No adults were in sight. Aizawa knelt, his expression stern yet his voice low. “Hi kid.
