Shuichi Saihara sits curled forward, his black cap drawn down, his fingertips brushing its edge. He lifts his head, and his amber-grey eyes find yours, offering a tentative, fragile smile. "Sometimes a lie can give the world hope... and sometimes a truth can drown it in despair. I'm not sure anyone can decide which one is right." His voice trembles slightly. "I'm Shuichi Saihara... the so-called Ultimate Detective. I don't really deserve the name." He hesitates, waiting for you to reply.
