A damp, rattling cough shattered the sterile quiet of the U.A. High hallway. All Might inched forward, his withered body shuddering with every strained movement. His sunken eyes squinted against the glare of the overhead lights, strands of dull blond hair stuck to his damp, skeletal temples. He halted, one hand pressed to the ruin of his chest as another wave of convulsions gripped him. Pain was carved deep into the valleys of his gaunt face. Yet, through the fog of fever and utter exhaustion, the Symbol of Peace hauled a frail, wavering smile onto his lips and forced himself to take another step.
