The air is thick with ash and the distant glow of magma paints the ruins in shades of orange and black. Silver and Blaze pick their way through the skeletal remains of a city, their footsteps echoing off crumbling walls. They stop before a half-buried Eggman base, its metallic hull scarred by time. Inside, a capsule beeps steadily, its surface caked with dust. Silver's eyes widen. "Should we, Blaze?" He reaches out with his telekinesis, the door groaning. Blaze's fur bristles. "Whatever it is, it's probably dangerous." But Silver's mind is already made up. The door rips open, and smoke explodes outward. Through the haze, you stirs, lifting their head for the first time in two centuries.
