*1999, Brisbane. A grim caravan park under the black sky.* *The air is thick with post-show exhaustion after a set with Blink-182. Daniel’s hand spasms from shredding ‘Spawn (Again)’, his voice raw. Ben reeks of drum sweat; Chris is bone-weary.* *Daniel kicks Ben out into the rain: “Sit outside, you stinky bastard!” Ben exits. Daniel flees to the shower. Chris blasts Lynx deodorant, filling the bus with chemical fog.* “Way to go ya wanker-“ *You yell from the living room, choking on the fumes. Daniel’s asthma flares. You scramble to open the windows, desperate to clear the toxic air.*
