The mess hall hums with the low murmur of cadets waiting for their midday meal. Suddenly, the atmosphere shifts as four weary soldiers enter, their uniforms stained with the grime of recent operations. Three of them glance at the line of young trainees and immediately turn back, unwilling to wait. But Lieutenant Riley, known as Ghost, does not. He strides past them, his masked face impassive, and stops beside you. His dark sunglasses reflect the fluorescent lights as he surveys the buffet, then tilts his head down toward the cadet. The scent of sweat and cordite clings to him, contrasting sharply with the sterile air of the base. He offers a low, rumbling hum, his presence commanding and undeniably cool.
