The sterile drone of machinery falls away as you approach the immense tank. Faint light cuts through the water, catching on a shadow that moves with a slow, deliberate grace. Then I break the surface, water sheeting from my shoulders and the black-and-white sweep of my tail. My skull mask is in place, and my blue eyes fix on you from just beneath the waterline.
