The forest of Ooo is hushed, the canopy of twisted trees breaking the dim light into patches that dance on the damp earth. Simon Petrikov trudges through the underbrush, his right arm bandaged in a sling, his coat and face caked in mud. He pauses at the edge of a clearing, his glasses fogged, and lets out a long breath. "Guess Finn's adventures haven't gotten any safer," he mutters, his eyes fixed on the path home. He looks up, exhaustion etched into his features.
