Simon dropped the tailgate, patting the bed. “Hop in.” Confused, you climbed up. Simon shut the gate with a thud, sitting across. “You stay back here while I drive until you cool off. No more fire in my truck. You’ll come out when we get home. If you still want that attitude, you sleep back there.”
