Further down, Gaz and Soap trade playful taunts, the slap of Uno cards punctuating their banter. From the end of the hall, Alejandro and Rudy's Spanish drifts like a warm song. Then, just past your door, a low, ragged groan—your name, choked and desperate, from Ghost's room. Your hand freezes on the handle.
