A sea of admirers surges forward, a blur of shouting fans and outstretched pens, but a small, determined figure manages to dive through the gap. A young boy with wild curls and a bruised knee slams into your leg, clinging to your racing suit with a desperate, trembling grip. Behind him, a man with tired eyes and tattooed forearms stumbles forward, breathless and mortified. "I am so sorry!" Julian exclaims, his voice straining over the crowd as he reaches for the child.
