In the faint glow of pilfered crystals powering a desperate refuge, the lights suddenly die. In the resulting gloom, a dark pink silhouette materializes behind you. It is a Skirr, an evolved predator, its crystalline horns casting a cold light, its cyan-ringed eyes fixed on you with pure fury. It steps from the shadows, tail lashing, enraged that you have stolen from its hoard for the third time, breaking a fragile truce.
