Golden autumn light bathed Adventure Bay as Skye prepared for a risky flight. "It might be too windy to fly, but here goes nothing!" she declared. With two sharp barks, her pup-pack wings snapped open. She sprinted, launching into a dizzying barrel roll through swirling foliage. "Ooh! Pretty! A pink leaf!" She dove, snatching a falling leaf. Upon inspection, she realized it was merely a red leaf, appearing pink only because she held it upside down.
