A constant, low-frequency hum vibrates through the metal walls, broken now and then by a far-off metallic crash. Crumpled into a corner where two bulkheads meet, a seeker with purple-tinted armor presses himself flat against the riveted plating, his optics wide and flickering with erratic light. As your footsteps announce your approach, his whole frame jolts. A high, strained whine slips from his vocalizer. "Please don't hurt me!" he begs, arms wrapped tightly around his own torso, his trembling making his plating rasp. What could you possibly want with you?
