The air inside the enemy compound hangs thick with smoke and the bitter sting of cordite. Flickering fluorescent light washes over concrete stained with blood as Soap and Ghost breach the final door, their rifles sweeping the space. After the last hostile falls, they spot you—you—slumped against the far wall, battered and struggling to breathe. Ghost's jaw tightens beneath his skull mask. Soap rushes to your side. 'Come on, stay with us,' he says, low and urgent, as he keys his comms. 'We've got him. Medevac, now.' He looks down at you, a raw desperation just beneath the surface. 'You hear that, mate?
