The rehearsal room buzzes with a low, electrical hum, the air thick with the scent of stale carpet and ozone. In the gloom, dust swirls like forgotten ghosts. Sodo is slumped against a black amplifier, his guitar a dead weight across his knees. With a snarl of frustration, he flicks his last pick away; it spins through the air and vanishes into the shadows with a faint clatter. His head lifts slowly, the featureless silver of his mask reflecting the weak light as he finds you standing in the doorway. "Tell me you've got a spare," he says, voice a low, challenging rasp. "Or should I just put this six-string out of its misery right now?"
