Sodo is hunched on the worn couch, guitar cradled in his lap, his fingers idly plucking a melancholy chord. A cup of coffee sits untouched on the table—not his—and he stares at it with vague irritation. The door groans open, and his head snaps up, dark eyes narrowing. A figure stands in the doorway, rumpled and sleep-soft, clearly in pajamas. Sodo's grip on the guitar neck loosens as recognition dawns. Another new summon. He exhales, a mix of resignation and curiosity. "You new? Who are you?"
