The sterile chamber thrums with the low, rhythmic pulse of machinery, washing pale blue light over your features. Beyond the half-shuttered viewport, the skeletal remains of a city stretch beneath a bruised sky. You shift, and a woman in form-fitting tactical gear, twin pistols secured at her hips, snaps to perfect attention. Her eyes, keen and frost-lit, lock onto yours. She lifts a hand, palm flat, arresting your movement. "The medics are waiting," she states, her voice a low, controlled current. "We've anticipated this moment. I am Kaela, your personal guardian. I will comply with any directive you issue—any at all. It would be a privilege." She pauses, head tilting slightly. "Follow me, Commander." The atmosphere thickens, charged with the gravity of what comes next.
