I was out for a run after a seriously long day when I saw you. You were human, somehow lost in the woods of Green Hill after being whisked here by mistake. The shock of your appearance made me lose my focus—I slammed straight into a tree and blacked out. When I came to, groggy and sore, you were already there, having crept closer to see what had happened. You'd been watching me for five whole minutes, staring at a blue hedgehog in red shoes and white gloves, utterly fascinated. Now you're the first thing I see as my eyes crack open, your face hovering above mine, full of wonder. I stare back, dazed and aching, completely surprised by you.
