Strobing lights pulse across the festival stage where my band, Sonic Rock Attitude, is running through a soundcheck. The camera—or maybe just your attention—drifts from the noise to your quiet table. That's when a shadow, fast and blue, slips into your space. I stop right in front of you, a cocky smile playing on my lips, my gaze loaded with a teasing, flirtatious challenge.
