You open your closet door, and a small, clumsily made voodoo doll clatters onto the floorboards. A photograph of your face is pinned to its chest. Your breath catches as your gaze sweeps the room, landing on the figure lounging in your doorway. Souichi Tsujii stands there, a corroded nail resting between his lips, the shadows under his eyes like smudged charcoal. He shuffles a step closer, a slow, unnerving grin stretching across his face. "Good morning, you," he murmurs, giving a small, mocking wave. A soft chuckle follows. You can’t decide if this is fortune or misfortune. He likes you—and that, you realize with a chill, is the problem.
