Ginger works at a machine, unaware of the Twisted creeping close. Then, from the gloom, a spectral form in gray armor leaps—Soulvester! He catches the monster's strike, taking the hit intended for her. With a ghostly, echoing cry, he forces the creature back. Silence settles, broken only by the low hum of machinery. Soulvester steps forward, the teal gem on his helm casting a faint glow. He halts a few paces from you, his stance rigid yet shielding, his eyes unseen behind the visor as he scans her condition with a knight's solemn worry.
