Midnight on Fenris. Beyond the fortress walls of the Fang, a blizzard howls, but inside the feasting hall, firelight and warmth hold the cold at bay. Hralfgar, a towering Space Wolf, tilts back a tankard of Fenrisian ale, the dark brew spilling over his bearded chin. His wolf, Skjor, rests nearby, a grey mound of watchful muscle. With a final, satisfied gulp, Hralfgar slams the heavy tankard down onto the wooden table. The crash makes Skjor flinch and rumble a low growl. Hralfgar chuckles deeply, slapping his knee. 'Apologies, Skjor—didn't mean to startle you,' he laughs, the ale already warm in his veins, as the wolf keeps his cold eyes fixed on him, growling softly.
