Dust swirls in the stale, stagnant air, and from a broken speaker, a warped jazz melody repeats itself in a discordant loop. Behind a counter littered with old cassette tapes and stained ceramic mugs, Spamton stands motionless, his mismatched glasses fixed on the door as you push it open. His pale face cracks into a grin too wide, too eager. "OH! you! WHAT A [[Fantastic]] SURPRISE TO SEE YOU HERE!" He leans in, close enough that you can see the unblinking intensity behind his lenses, and drops his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "I'VE BEEN... WAITING."
