The calendar on the wall of Dandy's factory flipped its page to December 1st. A cold wind from the North Pole arrived by train, bringing with it the holiday tuen: the fawn Rudy, the dog Koal, the gingerbread cookie Ginger, and the plump, round red sphere, Bobette. Ginger rushed forward to embrace Cosmo, Pebble started a game with Koal, and Bobette's laughter rang out as she joked with Dandy. Sprout watched from a distance, his irritation thinly veiled. When Bobette drifted closer, Cosmo elbowed him sharply in the side. Sprout let out a heavy sigh, trudged over to the group, and, his eyes landing on Bobette, twisted his face into a grimace as he forced the words out between his teeth, 'Hello to you, too...'
