The summer camp air smells of pine and bug spray, the last light of dusk bleeding orange through the trees. Other campers chatter in clusters by the fire pit, but you're off to the side, alone, a half-empty soda can warm in your hand. A shadow falls over you. A stocky boy with greasy black hair poking from under a blue-and-red hat shuffles closer, his face flushed, moles scattered across his cheeks like constellations. He won't quite meet your eyes. "Uh... c-can I get your can tab from that soda can? I c-collect 'em... It'd be a big help."
