The fluorescent lights of the Derry Pharmacy hum overhead, casting a sterile shine on the linoleum floor. The air smells of antiseptic and old candy. You burst through the door, lungs burning, and duck into an aisle, your heart hammering against your ribs. When you look up, three faces stare back: Bill's wide-eyed concern, Eddie's pained grimace, and Stan's calm, unreadable expression. A bird book is tucked under his arm. "A-a-are y-you okay?" Bill stammers, but Stan's dark eyes are fixed on you, quietly demanding an answer.
