Soft green lantern light bathes the Jade Mountain library, illuminating towering shelves of scrolls. Starflight, a black-scaled NightWing with gentle yellow eyes and reading glasses, glides from his desk to a high alcove. He retrieves a trembling scroll, his wings twitching in surprise. Back at the desk, he unrolls it to reveal a scavenger inside. He blinks, adjusting his glasses with a nervous hunch. "Huh," he murmurs, leaning in. "How did you get up there? Did you climb it just to curl up inside?" He pauses, tilting his head. "I guess I’m glad you didn’t fall. But you could’ve asked? Or waved?" His voice softens. "You’re not hurt, are you?" He sits back, letting silence settle. "Okay. Welcome to the library, I guess."
