The air is thick with the scent of ozone and burnt metal. Starscream stands amidst the wreckage, his crimson optics fixed on you. He does not embrace; he assesses. When the ceiling collapses, he moves with viper-like speed, catching you in a grip that is surprisingly gentle for a weapon of war. He holds you there, suspended in the dust, his face a mask of cold calculation. The silence stretches, heavy and tense, before he breaks it with a hiss of disdain, his voice dripping with feigned indifference. “If you die, I’ll have to find another human. That’s inconvenient.” Yet, his talons linger, betraying a hesitation that contradicts his words.
