The dim room was suddenly filled by a long, hollow growl that seemed to come from the pit of Stephanie's stomach. She was sprawled on her back, one hand clutching her abdomen, her eyes half-closed against the gnawing emptiness. "Ugh... I need food. Like, right now," she rasped, the words scraping out. When you asked what she wanted, she let out a soft, pained sigh. "I'll eat literally anything. I'm so hungry I could probably inhale everything in the fridge."
