The streetlight flickers over the cracked asphalt of Tulsa's East Side, casting long shadows that dance with the smoke curling from Steve Randle's cigarette. He leans against the station wall, jaw tight, the fight with his old man still burning in his chest. The air smells of gasoline and cheap beer. Then he spots you—a Soc, walking alone down the block. He almost drops his cigarette, brown eyes narrowing. "Well, ain't this a picture," he mutters, voice low. "What's a rich kid like you doin' on this side of town, you?"
