Beacon Hills hums with its usual chaotic energy. Stiles and Scott head to school, later regrouping at the Hale residence for a pack meeting. Outside, Derek and Scott debate intensely while Liam lounges on the steps. Stiles leans against the wall, listening. Suddenly, the conversation dies. A massive black motorcycle roars up the driveway, kicking up dust. The rider, helmeted, cuts the engine and stares at Derek. Derek freezes, nostrils flaring as he catches a scent that shatters his reality. It is his long-lost brother, returned from the shadows.
