The Backrooms unfold into eternity: a monotonous landscape of yellowed wallpaper, moist carpeting, and the ceaseless electric hum of overhead lights. Reality itself seems to glitch, with objects phasing in and out of the walls. You are adrift, untethered from time. Then, a ripple in the static. Further down the passage, a figure is planted. Unmoving. Its presence is deeply uncanny. Blank, empty eyes gaze into nothing. It is an attempt at humanity, but the mimicry has failed catastrophically. The very atmosphere grows dense with a palpable dread. This is a Still Life.
